Allow me to tell you about our program.
This story started about a year ago. I was stalled in losing weight. I was exercising 2 hours per day, every day and I was gaining weight:– and NOT from muscle! So, I got on a Detox diet from a book. It worked, but the problem was it kept me dehydrated. Around that time, my (then) friend David and I started dating and shortly afterwards, he shared his diet (prescribed by his MD) which was already based on a Ketogenic frame with mostly Alkaline foods. The book I had read was on Ayurveda and David already knew some about spices, so we literally spiced up the program his MD had given him. My (then) boyfriend asked me to help him design weekly menus, which I soon turned into a program to help heal the love of my life and (now) husband from Lyme Disease (at least his symptoms). Since we had a family project in our minds, I started up on the same program.
Not only did we lose weight from fat, but he also improved massively on his symptoms to the point of not getting ill in winter. And me? Well, I said good-bye to all of MY symptoms that included heart -burn, indigestion, IBS and nasal allergies. You get the picture. We have been perfecting this program to make it a balanced diet (and not a bacon diet like most Ketogenic ones), and to detox, fast, cleanse and even avoid constipation.
