Everytime I’ve shared this protocol, I hear people telling me, but you need carbs! The secret is in this program that is our life-style WE DO eat carbs. It’s just not all carbs are created equal.
We eat carbs from fruit, we will even have the high-sugar banana, but we will eat half a banana per day.
We promote staying away from WHITE anything but coconut – if it’s white, it’s processed, Prefer whole wheat pasta, and bread; brown rice. Keep those to no more than one portion per day.
We also love the fiber in oatmeal, the protein in quinoa and the follates and vitamin Bs in beans; we will keep the quinoa and beans on a maximum of a weekly basis and the oatmeal at one portion per day.
Our trial is against simple carbs, and processed foods.
