12 Day New Year’s Challenge – Day 1!

It’s time to shine! Today is the day to start making your dreams come true!

And TODAY IS DAY 1!

One of the hardest parts of manifesting is perhaps changing your vibration.

So for Day 1 we will start by cleansing from the inside out. You can do this in two ways: by cleansing your colon; by fasting or by doing both!

I personally prefer doing both!

My favorite way to cleanse my gut is by using baking soda water. That is approximately 2 tbsp of baking soda in 8 oz of water -add a hint of lime for a tingy twist, be ware lime and baking soda bubble big time! Other techniques include using castor oil or olive oil in orange juice.

Now on fasting.. What we mean when we say fasting, is drink your foods. Yes, drink your foods! Drink alkaline water and quality broths or smoothies filled with protein.

As you perhaps already know, my favorite alkaline water recipe per every 8 oz of water, two ginger leaves (either scraped from a clean root or from the pink leaves you can get at the supermarket) the juice of 1 lime and stevia to taste. I prepare 1/4 of a gallon or 1 liter per day.

And driniking your proteins and veggies. As broths or smoothies. For broths, my favorite is beef with carrots, mushrooms, pepper, salt, onion and garlic, a dash of sea salt makes it delicious. If you prefer to mi and match as I do, try having protein shakes for breakfast or dinner. Here is one of my favorite recipes: 1/2 a frozen banana, 1 teaspoon of unsweetened peanut butter, yogurt, 1 scoop of your favorite organic, grain free protein, 2 tablespoons of yogurt and blend!

Enjoy your first day of the 12 day challenge! This is THE year you make your dreams come true! Starting by cleansing you say good bye to the old energy and hello to the new!

While you fast – be reminded to drink TONS of water! Best if you make it alkaline! For tomorrow’s challenge have your resolutions handy!
